WCEF Guidelines

  • Grants must target students and residents of the Washburn, Wisconsin School District.
  • Projects normally funded or have funding from the Washburn School District may not be considered for this grant.
  • Collaborating with teachers in our district is encouraged. Teachers appreciate new opportunities for their students but may not have the time to work on them without a community partner.
  • Our emphasis is on learning and educational opportunities for residents of all ages.
  • We generally like to see funding requests for programs that include as many students and residents as possible.
  • If you would like to consult with one of our board members on an upcoming project to see if your grant fits our goals, please email us and we'll put someone in contact with you.

WCEF Grant Procedures

  • Take at least one quality, descriptive photo of your project to be included with your Final Grant Report.
  • Upon completion of the project, complete and electronically submit the Final Grant Report.
  • Include a photo from the project with the Final Grant Report. It can be emailed to wcef@washburncef.org.
  • Funds will be distributed once the Final Grant Report has been received.
  • Early distribution of some funds may sometimes be arranged at the discretion of the WCEF Board.
