Description: This annual grant provides financial support for creative and innovative educational opportunities for all age groups within or outside the Washburn school system.  Grants will be assessed based according to the WCEF mission statement. WCEF supports projects that encourage exemplary or innovative ideas, creative thinking, teaching, scholarship, development of talents or intellect, professional development, learning outside of the classroom, or foster community involvement.

Grants: Grants of all sizes will be considered
Applications: Electronic submissions through the application below only.
Notification Time:  Within 4 weeks of grant deadline.
Payment: Upon completion of the Grant Report. Other arrangements will be considered.

WCEF Guidelines

  • Grants must target students and residents of the Washburn, Wisconsin School District.
  • Projects normally funded or have funding from the Washburn School District may not be considered for this grant.
  • Collaborating with teachers in our district is encouraged. Teachers appreciate new opportunities for their students but may not have the time to work on them without a community partner.
  • Our emphasis is on learning and educational opportunities for residents of all ages.
  • We generally like to see funding requests for programs that include as many students and residents as possible.
  • If you would like to consult with one of our board members on an upcoming project to see if your grant fits our goals, please email us and we'll put someone in contact with you.
  •  A priority is to fund opportunities for education for community members rather than funding infrastructure or salary (for example: a priority would be to fund scholarships for free or reduced-price educational opportunities rather than paying for materials or salaries)

IMPORTANT!

After you fill out the application below, you should receive confirmation from Google stating your application has been submitted.
